What is CBD?

Cannabidiol (CBD) is biphasic, meaning at a low and high doses, CBD can produce opposite effects. Small doses of CBD tend to be energizing and stimulating, while larger doses tend to be relaxing and sedating.

What is Delta 8?

We all know THC is what gets us high, right? But did you know that there are different variants of THC? The name of the type of THC that gets you “high,” is Delta-9 THC. But Delta-9 is not the only type of THC with psychoactive effects. Delta-8 THC is known to have those same effects on some users.

What is CBDv?

CBDV, or cannabidivarin, is one of the molecules derived from hemp and cannabis plants. These particular molecules, most often
referred to as cannabinoids, are partially responsible for some of the therapeutic benefits cannabis offers. CBDV is structurally similar to CBD (cannabidiol). Like CBD, CBDV does not have psychoactive effects when isolated, and therefore won’t cause the euphoric high associated with high-THC cannabis.

What is CBG?

CBG (or Cannabigerol), is a non-psychoactive cannabinoid typically most abundant in low-THC and high-CBD cannabis strains, such as hemp. Much like THC, CBG reacts with the cannabinoid receptors in the brain. However, CBG acts as a buffer to the psychoactive effects of THC by working to alleviate the paranoia sometimes caused by higher levels of THC. This makes it a powerful and important ingredient in our blends.
